Central Elementary Students Give Back Central Elementary students wrote heartfelt letters and collected stuffed animals and books in collaboration with Benny's Western Wear to send to an elementary school affected by the hurricane earlier this year. The students penned the most touching letters, and it was truly heartwarming to see how they carefully packed the packages. They even included a stamped, self-addressed envelope in each package for the students to write back. It is such a blessing to witness our students giving back!

Fourth Grade Heritage Project The fourth grade students did an amazing job on their heritage project! They worked hard to learn about their family heritage, exploring where they came from, the countries their families descended from, their family crests, and their favorite family recipes. Throughout this project, the students developed valuable skills in research, writing, reading comprehension, and creating graphic organizers. Additionally, they learned how to deliver public presentations of their projects to their families and peers.

The Artesia Public School District announced today it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals. https://www.bulldogs.org/o/aps/page/food-services
