Dear APS Families,
Itās Friday Night Bulldog Football time again so I want to take a moment to address a matter of utmost importance ā the safety and well-being of our students during the games.
Last football season, we implemented the new protocol of not allowing students to walk around Bulldog Bowl during the football games. We will again put this protocol into place this season. It provided our fans with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful evening without having to dodge students as well as cutting down on the fights. We received positive feedback from staff, students and fans on how much nicer it was at our games.
Please remind your student that unless they have a reserved seat ticket, they must sit in the general admission section or the student section. Also, if a student continues to walk around after being asked to find a seat, parents will be called to pick their student up.
We kindly request your support in this matter. Please have a conversation with your child before attending the football game, explaining the importance of staying seated and enjoying the game from their seats. We believe that by working together, we can create another fun, safe football environment for everyone.

We are hosting a new event this year. It is a Bulldog Traditions Workshop. It will be open to 6th-12th graders. Students can come to make mums, posters, and paint spirit wear for Bulldog Activities. Students will bring art supplies and clothing items to decorate.

August 14-15 - Volleyball practice until 4pm
August 16 - Release @ 3:20pm
August 19-22 - Volleyball practice until 4pm
Monday through Thursday girls will practice until 4pm. Friday's will ALWAYS be a 3:20 dismissal.
Reminder that all Athletics students must complete ALL components of Rank One before they can fully participate.

The Artesia Public School District announced today it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2024-2025 school year.
Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
