Registration and Immunizations
At Artesia Public Schools, we’re always excited to welcome new faces! Whether you are new to the area or have a kindergartner ready to begin school, you’ll need to stop by the office of the school your child will attend to complete the registration process.
Registration Requirements
When you are ready to enroll your child, please remember to bring the following documents with you:
Proof of your child's date of birth (a certified copy of the child's birth certificate or other reliable proof of the student's identity and age, including the student's baptismal record, an application for a Social Security number, or original school registration records, and an affidavit explaining the inability to provide a copy of the birth certificate)
Your child’s up-to-date immunization records
Proof of residency (such as a utility bill)
Proof of guardianship or any legal documents pertaining to your child
Transcripts from previous school (if transferring)
Complete the enrollment packet on the left side of the screen under registration forms
Immunizations
We believe that healthy children are better learners and are more apt to succeed. As a result, we maintain a policy that promotes optimal health by complying with the guidelines set by the state of New Mexico regarding the administration of medication and immunizations.
We will not enroll students at any of our schools without evidence of immunization or a properly documented exemption, so please remember to bring your child’s immunization records with you when you enroll.
